STRIPE-POWERED PAYMENTS.
Connect your Stripe account. Drivers pay by card or app. Funds settle to you, minus the banded margin Dynamo takes on routed kWh.
Become the operator. Bill drivers. Earn ongoing revenue from every charger you've ever installed. Same Dynamo backend. Same five-minute commissioning. Just the bits that turn an install into a business.
An install is a one-time event. An operator runs the network. Same hardware, same job, completely different relationship with the customer — and a recurring line on your P&L.
Operator is the Free CSMS plus billing, payments, branding, and customer accounts. You stay on Dynamo, your chargers stay where they are, but now they make money.

White-labelled customer site. Your colours, your domain, your name. Dynamo doesn't appear unless you choose to credit us.
Per-kWh, per-minute, time-of-use, member rates, idle fees. Match Octopus Agile if you want. Change pricing per site, per charger, or per user group.
RFID tokens, app accounts, guest sessions, employee allowances. Manage who can use what, and bill the right person — site owner or end-user.
Default split: site owner takes the headline share, you keep the operator margin, Dynamo takes a small banded fee. All configurable per deal.
Every session generates a receipt. Monthly statements per site owner, per site, per charger. CSV and PDF export. Stripe payouts reconcile automatically.
A realistic scenario. SME office sites you've installed at, modest utilisation, default revenue split. The point isn't that this is your number — the point is to show the line items, so you can model your own.
Three bands. The bigger your operation, the smaller our share. We'd rather you build a real network than churn out at 50 chargers because we got greedy.
We're picking the first 25 installers to run as Operator. Free during beta — no banded margin until GA. Direct line to the team. You shape the revenue split logic, the portal, and the GA pricing.
If you're billing drivers, you're a charge point operator — that's the legal definition. You don't need a special license in the UK, but you do need PCI-compliant payment handling (Stripe gives you that), accurate metering (signed values are available on Operator), and clear pricing displayed on the charger or portal. We give you templates for the customer-facing comms.
Negotiated per deal. The default we model is 60% site owner / 35% installer / 5% Dynamo banded margin. Common alternatives: site owner takes 70% with you on a flat per-session fee, or 50/50 if you're funding the installs. We don't dictate the split — but we do generate the contract templates so you don't have to.
Yes. Tariffs are per-charger, per-site, per-user-type, or per-time-of-day. You can charge an SME office £0.65/kWh and a residential block £0.45/kWh under the same Operator account. Variable rates pulled from external feeds (Octopus Agile etc.) are supported.
Their chargers stay theirs. Repoint the OCPP endpoint at any other CSMS — Dynamo doesn't hold the hardware hostage. You'd lose the operator margin from that site, but the chargers keep working. We publish exportable session data on demand. Same as the Free CSMS — no exit fees, no data hostage.
Every charger you've installed is making someone money. Make sure that someone is you. Apply for the Operator beta — 25 slots, reviewed weekly.
